What The California Drought Looks Like Where I Live

Indian Wells Exempt From CA Drought

I took this on April 29, 2016. OMG! It’s nothing, but grass for what reason. Gosh how I wish I could just water for water sake. NW corner of Miles and Washington.

What Drought For This Golf Course?

This was taken on Saturday, December, 5, 2015. It's SilverRock Resort in La Quinta. The golf course is such a lovely green. Bet your lawn isn't this green. It's a pity that Governor Brown has exempted golf courses from water mandates. Perhaps PGA has more clout than residents know. So, while residents are further penalized, golf courses in the area are permitted to be lush green.

Drought Not: September 8, 2015

Indian Wells Valley Water district (Indian Wells, CA) should be ashamed that it allows as well as permits such water waste. Californians, wake up! There is no drought! Dismiss it. When this type of green can exist with temperature at 106 degrees, your lawn could only wish to look this green. Who’s the sucker now? You.

Wells, CA June 15, 2015, East Bound Hwy 111

Notice the temperature of 113-degress Fahrenheit, and how green the city of Indian Wells remains during mandatory water restrictions. Never will the red prom dress wearers be made to see anything other than green. Bet you wish your lawn was this green?

Mandatory Water Restrictions Are A Joke

Here’s some new pictures of the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens taken April 29, 2015. My my my, look at all that irrigation to keep all that grass green. Red prom dress wearers must need to see green.

Temecula Valley Golf Course

This was taken on April 27, 2015 over in Temecula. It’s the Temecula Valley Golf Course. Again, what drought? Really great people of CA we are being doped. Seriously wakeup, and demand that Jerry Brown mandate that every golf course in the State either go brown or install astro turf. Why should you have to cut back when this type of entity is exempt. Your grass deserves to be this green too.

Another laughable video taken at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens Indian Wells, CA. CVWD stressing it has already cut water waste by 28%, and can’t get any more. WTF? Is CVWD that afraid of the dominant element here in Coachella Valley? Wakeup people! Until every entity is ordered in the STATE to convert to artificial turf, I stand firm stating there is no drought.

Indian Wells, CA driving south bound on HWY 111 from Palm Desert.  Be shocked and mad. This is city owned land, and it looks like this 365. This video was taken 2015 April 2. Just one day after Governor Jerry Brown’s mandatory 25% water cut back.

SouthWest Community Church taken on March 4, 2015. Why is this type of excessive lawn greenery allowed to persist when California is experiencing another year of drought?

Fritz Burns Park video and picture taken on February 9, 2015.  So green, so pretty, and not a brown spot in sight, what drought? One gotta love southern California. Wait, guess it has to be kept green for the snowbirds.

Well watered Fritz Burns Park, Not A Spot of Brown Grass To Be Seen

Indian Wells Tennis Gardens taken on October 4, 2014. Ah, how green the green spaces are. With 20% mandatory water reduction in effect, how why is this venue allowed to stay so green in the desert?

I had know idea that the city of La Quinta was exempt from the State’s mandated 20% cut back.  Wakeup Californians and sue the State. You’re being duped.  This photo was taken on September 27, 2014.  It was 101 degrees outside. That golf course is just as green as the Empire Polo Fields, and the SW Church property.  This is not right.

Coachella Valley Water Board Notice

This came in the mail from Coachella Valley Water Board yesterday:

Empire Polo Fields Indio, CA

Apparently water restrictions do not apply for the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, or someone forgot to tell them.

Again, what drought in California? Water proudly and keep your grass green. Why should you be denied when these areas are enjoying full flow?

What Drought In California

What drought? These videos were taken at the SW corner of Fred Waring and Washington Street while driving east bound.  It’s triple digest here! Guess churches are exempt from water conservation. Just saying.

Let me know if you want to see more. The area golf courses, Polo Fields, and Indian Wells Tennis Gardens are just as green or greener
