I live in my sandals. With the weather being dry here, I have reoccurring rough thick calluses that often crack. I quest for products, which will mitigate. Personal Pedi by Laurent is a handheld device I found, while searching online after another product fell short, that operates with 2AA batteries. The device uses a small pumice roller that quickly spins rasping away the callus. It does not hurt, tickle, or irritate. One reproach I have is that you cannot use any downward pressure while the devise is on; else it will not spin. In other words, just allow the devise to do it’s thing touching the callus. What I found I could do, was gently vibrate the devise in a slight right-left motion. This really helped in wearing down my heal creased calluses that normally crack. I believe the inability to use pressure has to do with the battery operation, and only spinning at 1800 revolutions per minute. There is just not enough horsepower. Because of this limitation, you have to use the devise regularly in order to keep calluses down smooth. Now, the devise is water proof and shower ready. I use mine right after showering, and always with fresh batteries. Without difficulty, my softened calluses wear down leaving my heals soft smooth. I dedicate 15 minutes. Afterwards, I apply a callus treatment cream urea rich as well. If you enjoy getting pedicures, this would be a good devise to bring along for your pedicurist to use after your feet have soaked.

If you are wanting a devise that will wear down your calluses, then this product offers you that. It’s not a hand file, or scraper. The personal pedi is a devise that scrapes off callus using a rotating spinning pumice. Is it the holy grail callus remover, no. With that said, it a good tool own and use complimenting your feet care regime.
