So I bought the Miccus RTX for its bluetooth transmitting capability. The unit is compact, which I like. It is very easy to setup, and syncing worked exactly as the directions said. Imagine that, directions that work. My goal was to transmit audio to a bluetooth sound bar 32 feet away. Since it was not possible to position my rear
surround sound back wired speakers were I wanted, I thought that by using bluetooth I could solve my dilemma. The unit states it can transmit up to 45 feet away without sound distortion. The problem was when the stereo and the bluetooth were simultaneously on. The bluetooth sound bar had like a one millisecond delay, which created an echoing effect. I had the Miccus connected to the TV audio out, which is unaffected when TV audio is turned down to zero. However, the TV audio out is also fed out via an optical to the core receiver. Why is that important? Because I was thinking, optical wins over a cable out for sound transmission. With that thought, I connect the device to the audio out jack on the receiver thinking that might resolve the echo because the sound coming in from the optical is now equal. That did not solve the echo either.
The one millisecond transmission delay must be due to the reprocessing of the sound to bluetooth transmission. Alas, I had to return the Miccus; however, the devise does work. The application for how I tried to use did not purpose. If I didn't have existing wired sound and placed a sound bar with bluetooth behind me, the device is a perfect inexpensive solution.
Over all, I give the product ★★★★
